Founded in 2017 by Monica Cavarsan, Lard Ass Butter, is an artisan butter factory based in Ocean Grove in regional Victoria, producing traditional style French butter with Australian grassfed cream.
They manufacture salted and unsalted cultured butter, but to add to this they also specialise in flavoured butters including Smoked Garlic, Herb & Garlic, Roasted Tomato, Roasted Fennel Seed, Smoked Butter and Black Garlic butter.
Their mission: to produce the best quality naturally fermented dairy products. Simply.
Nervous, excited and happy all rolled into one. It’s a great opportunity to challenge myself and my business and this program will no doubt do that. There are a lot of unknowns for us as a business but I feel these unknowns will become fewer at the end of this program and that will help to become a more competitive and confident small business.
